Families are invited to join us every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for a free, fun hands-on project. These mind-expanding projects help children discover creative play through science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.
Our next workshop will be: The Annual Egg Drop Challenge!
Design your own contraptions to keep an egg safe from a single story fall using recycled material!
This is a drop-in program for the whole family; participants can join anytime from 10am-1pm, but we recommend allocating a minimum of 30-45 minutes for each activity. Parents/guardians are expected to stay with their children at all times and actively participate in the workshop.
This workshop is recommended for families with children ages 6+, but all ages are welcome. This workshop does require the ability to creatively think of solutions in an open ended activity and carefully handle eggs. Parents/guardians are asked to use their discretion when deciding whether a specific activity is the right choice for their kids, keeping in mind that advanced activities may take longer and require more fine motor skills to complete.
Brought to you for free through the support of the T Backer Fund, SRC Inc, the Technology Management Institute, and the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc.
