- **Event Description**: Jacob Street Band began as a 20+ year collaboration between Ben Hart and Brian Shaughnessy. They first started playing together while in college, brought together through a shared appreciation for music. Around that time they began writing songs and playing at open mics in the Albany/Capital District area.

John Skiff joined in 2023, bringing rhythm and energy behind the drum kit. In 2025 the band grew again, with the addition of Chris Leary on guitar/bass/keys and Madison Wyman on saxophone/harmonica.

The Luna Series is a monthly live music series centered around the healing and releasing energies of the full moon.  Curated by Natalie Seagriff, each month will showcase a musician with a single mission: to heal and uplift their audience through the power of music.  As the moon reaches its fullest glow, the audience will experience a unique blend of melodies and rhythms designed to foster emotional release and spiritual rejuvenation.  This curated series invites individuals to connect with their inner selves, allowing the music and ambiance to serve as a conduit for healing.  

Join us in the venerable hall of Mt. Ida Preservation Hall in Troy, NY as we celebrate the union of music and the universe, creating a sacred space for collective reflection and renewal.  Discover the magic of the Luna Series, where every note played is a step towards healing and connection.
