First, we’ll provide some background on the different types of laser cutters and engravers, the difference between cutting and engraving, and the different software involved in the process, including an in-depth demonstration of LightBurn, the software we use to control our lasers. After a safety briefing, each attendee will use LightBurn and our 60-watt CO2 laser to engrave their text of choice onto a piece of clear acrylic to take home.
