Hockey Mentors is a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free adaptive skating and hockey opportunities for individuals with disabilities and veterans with mobility impairments. Our mission is simple: make ice sports accessible to everyone, regardless of age, diagnosis, or ability level.

On Saturday, July 11, we're hosting our largest event of the year at the newly renamed Buffalo Wild Wings Arena in Troy. Participants will be paired with trained volunteers and can skate using adaptive equipment including sleds, seals, walkers, and other supports. No skating experience is necessary.

We welcome individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputations, visual impairments, developmental disabilities, mobility challenges, and many other diagnoses. Family members are encouraged to attend and enjoy the day as well.
