The hike will start at noon, hopefully letting the day warm up a little first. This intermediate-level hike will be a variation of Morris Mountain Trip A (page 324 in the guidebook), with some bushwhacking thrown in. The off-trail section will allow us to explore some old trails and create a unique route.Along the way, we'll visit a couple of the "Lost Uwharrie" locations to be featured in an upcoming book. These "lost" locations are little-known spots of interest that have fallen out of common knowledge and nearly been lost to the passage of time. Sound mysterious? Curious to know more?
