The World Race for Hope 5k on New Year's Day is back for the 19th year. Start the new year off right with a chip-timed 5k run or walk in Troy. The start and finish is at the Gazebo on the river levee across the river from downtown Troy. Runners and walkers will enjoy the scenic out and back course on the bike trail along the river.
- Registration is $25 now through December 15th, with multi-person discounts available, $30 after that through race day.
- Check in and same day registration starts at 9 am. Race start is 10 am.
- The race starts and ends near the Gazebo on the river levee, parking behind Hobart Arena.
- No shirts again this year, but we will have some kind of sustainable giveaway for in-person participants.
- Consistent with Waste-Free Dayton's mission, this is a low waste event, so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle. We will be composting any food waste from the event.
