FEATURING ALELA DIANE
Alela Diane is a Portland, Oregon based singer-songwriter who grew up in the winding rivers and golden hillsides of Nevada City, California. As a girl, she listened to her parents harmonize bluegrass songs in the kitchen, and began writing her own folky songs when she moved to San Francisco at age 19. Alela has been releasing albums since her move to the NW in the mid 2000s and has toured extensively through Europe and North America.
OPENING SONGWRITER ROUND with
EZZA ROSE
Since 2009, Ezza Rose and band have been cultivating a sound of their own. Drawing on several influences from the likes of Mazzy Star, Patti Smith, and their residency in Portland, ERB writes and performs music which reflects the listeners’ lives back at them while hinting at a new perspective. The fluidity of love, the ebb and flow of relationships, and getting caught in the machine of expectations, all are deconstructed with flowy rhythm, aggressive electric guitars, and dreamy vocal melodies. This winter they’re working on their fifth full band album and her second solo acoustic record to be released this fall.
JULIE MAYFIELD
Julie Mayfield has been a fixture in the Columbia River Gorge music scene for over 20 years, performing with groups such as Fields of May, Dryland Farmers, and Julie and the Astronauts. Raised between Washington and Alaska, she began singing hymns alongside her mother and went on to study chorale in college. After performing with bands in Southern California, Julie returned to Washington, where she continues to bring her Americana-rooted, genre-spanning style to audiences throughout the region.
SAVANNAH CLANCY
Savannah Clancy is a folk singer-songwriter based in the Pacific Northwest. Music to her is a doorway into the soul. It is a way to transcend barriers and dream new worlds of possibility into being. She has a dynamic sound that changes from day to day, allowing the aliveness of each moment to take root.
Her first album, Roots in the Water, was released in 2024, and her next one, a place to call home, is currently being released as singles each month.
Her music explores connection to place, relationships, honoring her lineage, creation, matters of the soul, and imagining what is possible into existence.
