Welcome to St. Patricks Day at Lager11! In collaboration with Standup Nidaros, we´re bringing Irish comedians from the UK to Sluppen, for an English (Irish!!) standup evening that promises to be full of belly laughs, and beer bellies!
The night features two of Ireland’s top comedians, Bernard O’Shea and John Colleary.
Bernard O’Shea is a hugely popular comedian, writer, and broadcaster who rose to fame on RTÉ’s The Republic of Telly and co-created the hit sitcom Bridget and Eamon. A winner of the Harp Newcomer Comedy Award, he has performed at major festivals including Edinburgh and Montreal, and is known for his sharp storytelling and hilarious takes on family life, marriage, and modern Ireland.
Joining him is the brilliant John Colleary, an acclaimed stand-up, actor, and mimic. He co-wrote and starred in the IFTA-nominated shows The Savage Eye and Irish Pictorial Weekly, and is a regular at Ireland’s biggest comedy festivals. Praised for his flawless live performances, Colleary is widely regarded as one of the finest comedians working today.
Doors open 20:00, show start 20:30. Lager11 is open from lunch until late.
BUT THE FUN DOESN´T STOP WHEN THE STANDUP ENDS!
Trubadur Åsen, guitarist and entertainment superstar will be smashing out karaoke and allsang hits late into the evening, so after a good laugh, a good couple of drinks, you can stick around for a song, and maybe singalong, with Trubadur Åsen.
