The open stage offers a platform for performances based on contact improvisation (CI) or related to the principles of CI to shed a spotlight on CI as an art form. Here, dancers and participants of the festival get the opportunity to present artistic works in front of an audience. This can be a performance based on contact improvisation or a score to improvise in a performative way, in front of the audience or together with the audience.

This event is free and open to the public.

Åpen Scene tilbyr en plattform for å vise noe i prosess basert på kontaktimprovisasjon (CI) eller relatert til prinsippene til CI for å sette søkelyset på CI som kunstform. Her får dansere og festivaldeltakere muligheten til å presentere kunstneriske verk og/ eller en idé i prosess, foran et publikum. Dette kan være en kort forestilling basert på kontaktimprovisasjon eller en score å improvisere med på en performativ måte, alene eller sammen med publikum.
