Dansekunstner Anna Thu Schmidt leder første del av arrangementet med bevegelsesinvitasjoner ( ca. 45 min) til levende musikk av Marija Čubrilo Druzijanic. Deretter åpner vi for jam ( ca. 45 min), hvor du kan improvisere fritt og utforske bevegelse og lyd, alene eller sammen med andre. 13. mars – Interaction kl. 18.00-19.30 Vi utforsker samspillet mellom orgelklang og danseimprovisasjon. Kvelden starter med en rolig bevegelsesmeditasjon for å lande i kroppen og lytte til musikken. Gjennom «call and response» går vi inn i en dialog mellom lyd og bevegelse. 17. april-connection kl. 18.00-19.30 Denne kvelden utforsker vi kontaktimprovisasjon. Vi begynner med en myk introduksjon til denne frie og sanselige bevegelsesformen, akkompagnert av et rikt og omsluttende klanglandskap fra to orgler, spilt av Marija Čubrilo Druzijanic og Luka Čubrilo. 5. juni-cocreation kl. 18.00-19.30 Den siste kvelden feirer vi samskaping gjennom en leken og åpen improvisasjonsarena. Musikere er hjertelig velkomne til å ta med egne instrumenter og være med på å fylle rommet med musikk og dans. Arrangementene er gratis og åpne for alle aldre, alle kropper og alle – med eller uten danseerfaring. Språk: norsk og engelsk. Dørene åpner 15 minutter før start og lukkes når arrangementet begynner. Du er velkommen til å bli igjen etterpå for en kopp te. Hun har også gjennomført kurs innen Fremtidens læringsteknologier (NTNU) og Berklee Music Education and Special Needs Study Group. Hun arbeider som kantor, dirigent og musikklærer i Trondheim, og deltar i ulike kunstneriske prosjekter – fra klassisk til eksperimentell musikk. Luka Čubrilo (f. 1987) er serbisk komponist som ofte utforsker skjæringspunktet mellom tradisjon og teknologi. Han er også aktiv som organist og pianist. Han fullførte sin utdanning i komposisjon og orkestrering ved Musikkhøyskolen i Beograd i 2013. I 2024 avsluttet han sitt kunstneriske doktorgradsarbeid i komposisjon med prosjektet «Retrofuturistiske eksperimenter – en dialog mellom orgel og elektronikk», der han undersøkte samspillet mellom pipeorgel og elektronisk lyd. IMPRODANS-Interaction-conncetion-cocreation Dates: 13 March · 17 April · 5 June Time: 18:00–19:30 Welcome to a series of three unique movement and sound journeys at Lademoen Church – collective experiences celebrating connection and community. Dance artist Anna Thu Schmidt will guide the first part of each event with movement invitations accompanied by live music from Marija Čubrilo Druzijanic. After this guided exploration, we enter an open jam where you are invited to improvise freely and explore movement and sound – alone or together with others. 13 March – Interaction The first event explores the interplay between organ sound and dance improvisation. We begin with a gentle movement meditation to tune into our bodies and the music. Through call and response, we enter into a dialogue between sound and movement. 17 April – Connection This evening is dedicated to contact improvisation. We begin with a short introduction to this free movement form, accompanied by the rich soundscape of two organs played by Marija Čubrilo Druzijanic and Luka Čubrilo. 5 June – Co-creation The final event celebrates co-creation through a playful and open improvisational space. Musicians are warmly invited to bring their own instruments and contribute to filling the space with live music and dance. These events are free and open to all ages, all bodies, and everyone – with or without dance experience. The sessions are held in English and Norwegian. Doors open 15 minutes before the event and close at the start. You are warmly invited to stay afterwards for a cup of tea. ImproDans Trondheim aims to create an open, free and safe space for movement and sound exploration, encouraging a playful approach to improvisation. She works as a cantor, conductor and music teacher in Trondheim and has participated in various artistic projects, exploring genres ranging from classical to experimental music. Luka Čubrilo (b. 1987) is a Serbian composer who frequently explores the intersection between tradition and technology. He is also active as an organist and pianist. He completed his studies in composition and orchestration at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2013.
