Grytekonsertene på Julemarkedet i Trondheim
Hver dag klokken 17:00 inviterer Julemarkedet i Trondheim til stemningsfulle grytekonserter – et varmt og inkluderende innslag i førjulstiden. Konsertene er en del av Frelsesarmeens tradisjonsrike gryteaksjon, hvor alle bidrag går til deres viktige arbeid i Trondheim. Frelsesarmeen støtter mennesker i sårbare livssituasjoner gjennom matutdeling, inkluderingstiltak, fellesskap og praktisk hjelp. Ved å nyte musikken og legge en gave i gryta er du med på å gjøre julehøytiden litt lysere for dem som trenger det mest.
21.12 – Jacks Funk Ungdomsstorband
Søndag 21. desember inntar Jacks Funk Ungdomsstorband scenen på Julemarkedet. Med sine 6 vokalister, 18 blåsere og 6-manns komp leverer storbandet moderne og fengende funk med låter fra artister som Pb Underground, Phat Phunktion, Silk Sonic, Ole Børud, Dirty Loops og flere.
De 30 medlemmene i storbandet kommer fra ulike videregående skoler i Trondheim og er i alderen 15–25 år. Under ledelse av Jack Enters har de tidligere opptrådt på Moldejazz, Jazzfest i Trondheim, Lillestrøm storbandfestival, Julemarkedet og Kulturnatt på Torvet. Publikum kan forvente en energisk, rytmisk og smittende konsertopplevelse med høy spilleglede.

Every day at 5:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market invites you to heartwarming benefit concerts – a cherished tradition that brings music and generosity together in the Advent season. These concerts support The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas fundraising efforts, with all contributions going to their important work in Trondheim. The Salvation Army provides food support, community activities, practical help, and care for people who are facing difficult circumstances. By enjoying the music and giving what you can, you help make the holiday season brighter for those who need it most.
21.12 – Jacks Funk Youth Big Band
On Sunday, December 21, Jacks Funk Youth Big Band will take the stage at the Christmas Market. With 6 vocalists, 18 horn players, and a 6-piece rhythm section, the band delivers modern and catchy funk tunes, performing songs by artists such as Pb Underground, Phat Phunktion, Silk Sonic, Ole Børud, Dirty Loops, and more.
The 30 members come from various high schools in Trondheim and are aged 15–25 years. Under the direction of Jack Enters, the band has previously performed at Moldejazz, Jazzfest Trondheim, the Lillestrøm Big Band Festival, the Christmas Market, and Kulturnatt at Torvet. Audiences can expect an energetic, rhythmic, and infectious performance full of musical excitement.
