About the event

Death Valley Yearly Ride
This is a annual trip that is a fun run and we are scheduled to go Start Wednesday March 18th returning Sunday the 22nd . We start in Ballarat for base camp the first night as they have nice bathrooms with actual showers. Then work our way across to the valley ending up in Furnace Creek for water and civilization the next day. It's a beautiful ride with a difficulty level of around a 3-6 and changes depending on the last year rain wash and usage. .

This trip is carry in carry out and will require you to carry water for food cleansing and drink, food for 5 days and a storage that can stay chill for the five days (we usually stop mid trip for gas and stores with ice), sleep gear and clothes for warm and cold weather and rain gear.
This is a great group to ride with no matter what your level of off roading is. We have different vehicles from all different makes of 4X4's. This group of people have experience to help with spotting lines and repairing issues, we have a few mechanics in this group as well to help if needed.
It is a family friendly environment and this is in National Park land so just like rules of the road no driving while drinking. But we do usually have great community pot luck type dinners if you'd like to join, and we like to end the day hanging around the fire with friends and a cold beer. Please drink responsibly.😁
For those that have not been to the desert know the temperature can go from 90deg to 30deg in just a few hours and is never predictable. Bring some sun screen as well as cold weather items just in case plus a warm sleeping bag, I use a 0deg bag myself. We will travel elevations changes from 5000ft to 282ft below sea level in Bad Water Basin.
the route is still in the works but will include a ride through Echo Canyon and a night camp at the Devils Racetrack and or Eureka Dunes. More info will be provided in the comments as they are created.
This is a non-sponsored event, everyone is expected to be responsible for them selves. I would love to see a group of 6th gen Bronco's, last year I did see a stock 6th gen coming out of Gullard Wash. Remember the limits are based on what your willing to do and we will help you with what ever you choose. And remember if you feel you can't go any further you can always go the way you came and we leave no one behind😁👍 See less
