Fante-Anne (1920): Rasmus Breistein’s classic tells the story of the spirited orphan Anne and her complicated love for farm boy Haldor, set against the backdrop of rural life, folk traditions, and stunning Norwegian nature. The film was a huge success and marked the beginning of Norway’s national romantic cinema.

? At Silent Film Days, Fante-Anne is brought to life with a new live score by Dina Konradsen and Jo Einar Tobias Sterten Jansen, blending traditional folk music with modern electronica. Inspired by folk dance, Helgeland fiddle tunes, and UK club culture, Konradsen creates a soundscape that bridges past and present – guaranteed to stir both nostalgia and rhythm in the audience.

Filmen ble en stor suksess og markerte starten på den nasjonalromantiske filmen i Norge.
