Gaza's Twin City in the North (2026) by Inga Maria Gudbjargardottir Evang

In Tromsø, Gaza’s Twin City in northern Norway, there are demonstrations each Saturday against the heavy investments of the Norwegian Oil Fund into companies complicit in Israels genocide in gaza. We meet Bahaa, a peace student, activist, and a Palestinian from Gaza living in Tromsø. As we follow him, he navigates the potent silence of the university in Tromsø (UiT) in the face of the genocide being committed against his home and his people. Through Bahaa, and other important activists in Tromsø, this film explores both the historic and the current significance of the Twin City relationship between Tromsø and Gaza, and questions the image of Norway as a peace nation, in the light of the recent events.

Seek it and Seed it (2026) by Oliver Munch Bender

This film follows three activists from different movements across a spring, summer, and fall in and around Copenhagen. From a forest occupation resisting a major highway project to a greenwashing protest at a shipping giant’s headquarters, and a bicycle graffiti standoff in the city streets, their struggles unfold in parallel. As the seasons shift, so do their grief, memories, hopes, and visions of the future. The film traces the emotional and political landscapes that bind them together. At its core, it is a portrait of resistance and how to imagine another and perhaps better world.
