Who’s teaching?
Usually some combination of Veera, Anthony, Amalie or Nina
We’ll start practice together with warm-ups and then some teaching for the first hour or so. The last hour will be free practice, usually referred to as a Jam. Those teaching will still be there for the jam, but usually everyone just helps each other out.
You don’t need previous experience or a partner to join. We’ll help you and get you going.
We look forward to seeing you on the mat!
What is Acroyoga?
Acroyoga is a playful practice that combines yoga, acrobatics and partner work, creating a unique way to build strength and balance while having fun. It’s a lighthearted, social workout that’s perfect for connecting with others, moving your body, and trying something new in a supportive atmosphere.
Financial investment?
You can come try us out up to 3 times without being a member. Then, if you decide to continue, you'll need to become a member of TSI, which costs 300/500 kroner per year (student or not).
You’ll also need a membership with KRAFT to get into the training facilities. There is a discounted price for students and for TSI members for monthly membership at KRAFT (same as UNN employees). You can also pay for single entry to try us out.
Just be aware that the TSI insurance doesn’t cover you until you become a member and have paid the membership fee.

What to bring?
Bring clothes that allow for movement, and a water bottle is nice to have.
What to think about?
Keep hands and feet clean and nails preferably short to minimize the risk of scratching others.
We usually practice barefeet since it makes it a bit easier
We do get quite close and cosy while training, so try to be mindful of how and where you place hands and feet on your training partner. And please be aware of personal hygiene before you come to training.
Is it safe?
Acroyoga is a “risk-sport” in some sense. Fortunately we rarely see serious injuries. The most common injury is probably a muscle strain. And there is a risk of falling.
You are ultimately responsible for your own safety, so please…
***Make sure to warm up properly.
***PLEASE make sure to use spotters (safety-person) and ask for guidance when you are unsure.
***Don’t push your own limits, or others, without considering safety-measures.
***Communicate with your partner and go at a pace where you feel you are in control.
