HARDLINE
Hardline is an American rock band that was formed in 1992.
Known for their blend of hard rock and melodic metal, they initially gained attention with their debut album Double Eclipse in 1992. The band’s original lineup featured powerhouse vocalist Johnny Gioeli, guitarist Neal Schon (from Journey), and drummer Deen Castronovo (also from Journey).
This star-studded formation contributed to the band’s early success and gave their music a polished, commercial sound.
Double Eclipse featured several hits, including the popular songs “Hot Cherie” and “Takin’ Me Down,” which helped to establish Hardline’s reputation as a band capable of delivering catchy, yet hard-hitting rock anthems. The album’s mix of melodic hooks and powerful vocals created a distinctive sound that resonated with fans of both arena rock and melodic metal.
However, after the initial success of Double Eclipse, the band faced lineup changes and periods of inactivity. Despite this, Johnny Gioeli remained at the forefront of Hardline, and the band continued to release albums, including II(2002), Leaving the End Open (2009), Danger Zone (2012), Life (2016) and Heart Mind and Soul (2021). These albums showed the band’s evolution while retaining their signature style of melodic, hard-hitting rock, and Gioeli’s unmistakable voice.
Hardline’s sound is often characterized by its energetic blend of melodic rock, powerful vocals, and classic rock influences. Over the years, they’ve maintained a loyal fan base despite lineup changes, and their music continues to reflect their roots in the 1980s and 1990s hard rock and melodic metal scenes.
SEVI
Known as one of the most successful rock bands in Bulgaria, Grammy nomination considered for their song “World That Doesn't Fit" ,SEVI captured the public attention with their original and recognizable style, the powerful female vocals and melodic songs.
They were part of the lineup of the biggest festivals in Bulgaria so far and have numerous tours in Europe, including participation on Rocknytt Indoor Festival, Sweden, Winter Storm Festival, Scotland, Planet Rockstock Festival, Wales and more. Their music was highly appreciated by famous artists like Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell), Thomas Vikstrom (Therion), Jen Majura (Evanescence), Luca Princiotta (Doro Pesch), who also participated in collaborations with SEVI in their albums.
Not only that but SEVI were invited to open the shows of the big stars like Europe, Hollywood Vampires, Black Stone Cherry, Tom Keifer, Nightwish and Evanescence in Sofia.
