WHAT IS BOOSTER DRAFT? ​This is a great format if you look forward to the excitement of checking out new cards and playing without being required to bring your own pre-built deck. Unlike constructed games—where you arrive with your strategically created deck—in a booster draft tournament, you build a new deck from three unopened booster packs at the start of the event, where you sit among other players where each one opens a single pack, picks a card and passes the pack along, until every card is picked. This repeats three times and then you will build your deck with the cards you picked along the way.
