What to Expect Saturday – Arrival & Check-In Meet at the charter base in the afternoon, where your coach will have already taken delivery of our yacht (often All Winds, a Beneteau Oceanis 41.1). Together we’ll go through the full check-in procedure, so you’ll know exactly what to expect when chartering in future. After a safety briefing, we’ll settle in, discuss the week ahead, and plan our first day on the water. Sunday – Familiarisation Sail A relaxed day to get to know the boat and crew. We’ll do a warm-up sail, practice manoeuvres, and review the boat’s systems so everyone feels at home onboard. Monday to Wednesday – Take the Helm Each participant will take full command of the yacht for a day — planning the route, leading the crew, handling departures, sails, navigation, and mooring. Your coach will be nearby for personalised feedback and coaching throughout. Thursday – Flex Day Reserved for weather delays or additional coaching time. Friday – Skills Consolidation & Debrief We’ll revisit any topics that need more practice, return to the base, and complete a typical charter check-out. The week ends with a friendly group debrief before departures on Saturday morning.
