Anshima is known to have healed her own trauma from her matrilineal lineage of victims and a patrilineal lineage of abusers or perpetrators over a period of 15 years. She now chooses to serve people through her mental health initiative, Commit To Self and an education initiative for underprivileged children, Akshar India Fellowship. Shes a trained hypnotherapist, past life regression therapist from the EKAA Institute, Mumbai and a counsellor trained from the Indian Institute of Counselling, Delhi. She gets guided and takes care of her own mental health by sitting with renowned therapists trained in Compassionate Inquiry approach developed by Dr Gabor Mate, Internal Family Systems and Family Constellations Therapy. Her mental health initiative Commit To Self has been able to help people heal complex mental health issues and certain physical health issues.
