- **Event Description**: The Colorado Creative Industries Summit (CCI Summit) is our annual convening for leaders in the creative industries to explore, connect, and activate ideas across Colorado. The Summit is both a space to learn from local and statewide initiatives and a chance to collaborate, be inspired, and spark new ideas for arts, advocacy, and creative placemaking.

Registration is now open for the 2026 CCI Summit, taking place June 4-5 in the CREATE Trinidad Creative District! Over two days, the Summit brings together exhibitions, performances, networking, tours, workshops and speakers--all unfolding amid Trinidad's history, galleries, and creative spaces full of character. 
For Everyone Who Creates, Leads, and Inspires

The convening is ideal for early to late-career creative leaders including artists, board members, community leaders, creative entrepreneurs, creative industries advocates from all sectors, elected officials, emerging creatives, executive directors, municipal and nonprofit cultural workers, and program staff.

Session Highlights

-Pre-Convening Activities 
On June 3, public pre-convening events run from 4-8 p.m., throughout the CREATE Trinidad Creative District, including BARTer Collective Story, Savoy Salon, and the Literary Arts Summit presented by Lighthouse Writers Workshop.

-Opening Plenary: The State of Colorado's Film Industry
Presenters: Josh Blanchard, Director of Colorado Creative Industries; Lauren Grimshaw Sloan, CO Film Commissioner; and Jeff Levine, Head of Audience Development & Experience for Sundance Film Festival.

-Welcome Reception at the Trinidad History Museum
Mix, mingle, and connect with fellow conveners as the evening unfolds at the Trinidad History Museum and across downtown in the creative district with activations and film screenings. 

-After Party at SOCO Skateland
Close out Day 1 of the CCI Summit with an after party hosted by Rainbow Dome, at SOCO Skateland--Trinidad's historic roller rink.
