THIERRY AND THE BACKYARD EMBASSY

Thierry è un artista congolese, batterista e cantante. La sua passione per la musica lo ha portato a frequentare il conservatorio di musica moderna di Milano (CPM). Durante il percorso dedicato al jazz afro-cubano, si è specializzato in batteria e percussioni,  aggiungendo pianoforte e voce come complementari. Protagonista in molte produzioni internazionali, sia in studio che nelle esibizioni dal vivo, ha iniziato la sua attività come  solista pubblicando l’album di debutto ‘Asante’ nell’estate 2023.  
Si esibisce dal vivo con la sua band The Backyard Embassy formata da 8 musicisti  provenienti da Italia, Francia, USA e Bulgaria: Giona Di Benedetto (basso), Martin Craig (chitarra), Stilian Penev (tastiere), Manuel Dall’Asta (percussioni), Roberto Dazzan (tromba),  Yannis Mazan (sax), Rosa Mussin e Daisy De Benedetti (cori).
