Small Explorers Learning Together: Colors & Feelings

Small Explorers Learning Together is for children ages 1 - 5 years old and their caregiver(s). Classes meet in our Discovery Den play space and begin with an interactive story time. A Museum professional guides the playful exploration of a gallery and ends in our classroom space with activity stations including a craft to take home. This month's class is offered Feb. 14 or 19 at 9:30 am.

February's class will introduce colors & feelings. Children will learn how to use sight to find colors in works of art. They'll be introduced to how color is connected to emotions and how they can use colors to express themselves in new ways. Children will practice identifying colors and will strengthen fine motor skills through activities that use the senses, specifically sight and touch.
