The 18th Annual Blair Smith Fishing with Kids Memorial Event is officially set for Saturday, July 25 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Centennial Park in Quinte West!

This free, family-friendly event continues to be one of the most meaningful traditions as we come together to celebrate community, childhood memories, and most importantly, Blair’s legacy. ?

We’re planning 150 goodie bags for the first 150 kids, and as always, there will be:✨ Free food and drinks for kids? Face painting? Cotton candy & ice cream? Fishing fun with amazing prizes — including fishing poles, tackle, and a fishing excursion grand prize!

Year after year, this event continues to grow, bringing families, friends, and the community together for a day filled with smiles, laughter, and connection.

It’s hard to believe it has been 18 years since we lost Blair. We miss him every single day, but we feel his presence in every laugh, every splash in the water, and every child proudly holding up their catch.

And somewhere, we still hear his voice asking, “How many kids came this year?”

Blair, the answer keeps growing. Your legacy continues to shine brightly. ?
