NEW PALTZ, NY — Singer-songwriter Dylan Doyle is excited to announce his new album, “Another Shade of Blue.” his fourth independent EP, is out now.
Over the years, Doyle’s sound has been known to range from fiery blues rock to vibrant funk with Americana roots woven through his musical tapestry. However, “Endlessly” is decidedly deeper as an R&B-infused single that showcases slower, more intentional guitarwork and vocal stylings that range from unapologetically righteous to powerfully vulnerable.
“‘Endlessly’ is about reminiscing on the feeling of falling in love early in a relationship that’s been worn down over time; looking back at better days with fondness, while searching for hope and meaning in the present. It aligns with the theme of the album, which has this thread of melancholic reflection that ties together eight songs with different moods and melodies,” he says.
Although you’ll hear elements of classic rock, roots, funk, soul, and pop throughout the album’s diverse tracklist, “Endlessly” stands out with its mellow groove that evokes a nostalgic mood that we’ve all likely felt—but instead of dwelling on that longing feeling of a love-gone-sour, it makes the listener want to pull closer the good things they’ve got.

For more than a decade, Doyle’s music has centered around passion-driven live shows that keep dance floors packed. He’s been a common name on the tri-state area music scene since he was a teen, clocking in 200+ shows a year and earning the respect of musicians like Bill Payne (LIttle Feat) and Jimmy Vivino (Conan O’Brian Show) who would usually remark on his talent exceeding the expectations of his age.
However, now at age 28, Doyle has proven that his skill isn’t just a flash in the pan, it’s growth-driven, backed by the stories that define entire chapters of the experiential life he’s lived as a full-time touring performer. All of this is present in his new album.
