# Event Details - **Event Name**: Housewerk DJ's for a Cause - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 02 Aug, 2026 at 12:00 pm – Sun, 02 Aug, 2026 at 06:00 pm - **Event Description**: Join us for an afternoon of house music with some of Michigan's favorite energetic DJs as we help raise money in supporting Traverse City's recreational hot spot, Mt. Holiday. Mt. Holiday Inc. is a volunteer group that purchased the man made hill to offer those activities that meant so much to the community. From skiing & tubing in the winter to hiking & biking in the summer as well as entertainment and space to rent for events. To keep the activities going for years to come, the aging infrastructure is in need of some upgrades. The volunteer group is raising money to make improvements so many can enjoy what Mt. Holiday has to offer for future generations. We are not charging for this music event but are asking all that attend to make a contribution to the Mt. Holiday group. Every little bit helps!!! ********************************************************************** DJ Jr. For over 30 years Josh King (DJ Jr.) has help put Traverse City, Michigan on the map for talented DJ's. His striking style and ability to blend tracks is only part of what this tremendous DJ has to offer. Jr. has been in the entertainment scene for many years, opening up for such acts as Technasia, MIMMS, Digital Underground, Richard Vission, Warp Brothers, Ying Yang Twins and DJ Psycho just to name a few. Jr. has appeared at and worked with many of Northern Michigan's finest clubs, festivals and venues, events in Detroit Michigan and more recently spinning frequently in Sarasota, Florida. His experience with music, technology, and passion to entertain is why Jr. is admired by many. In July 2012 DJ Jr. was voted One of Northern Michigan's top 3 Favorite Party DJ's and In July 2013 was voted #1 Favorite Party DJ by Traverse the Magazine. Listening to so many diverse artists and genres of music is what continues to drive this skilled veteran and contributes to his success!!! DJ CDX DJ CDX (Chris Remy) first started DJing over 3 decades ago in Detroit. From the rave warehouse days of techno and UK Garage, he collaborated with some of Detroit's best underground promoters. Alongside DJ Godfather, Will K, Jesse James, Jeffrey Woodward (just to name a few), CDX lit up the scene with his Dirty Haus Dubs mixtapes making him a headlining force. He continued to pack venues in Lower Michigan blending funky beats and heavy garage basslines. Eventually CDX found his way up to Northern Michigan when in the early 2000's, he added to his arsenal and expanded into the night club market. His continued success over the years made CDX a staple in the Northern Michigan DJ scene. More recently making appearances back in the Grand Rapids area, CDX brings his high energy performance and keeps people dancing!!! https://www.mixcloud.com/djcdxchrisremy/ DJ Space Scott Hultberg (DJ Space) is an open format DJ that has he held residencies at numerous nightclubs in mid Michigan and Central Florida as well as spinning at quite a few festivals. Hailing from Lansing Michigan, this veteran has opened up for numerous acts including many well known house and techno DJs from Bad Boy Bill, DJ Godfather to Paul Kallay of Gettoblaster as well as lots of hip hop/rap artists. Most recently, Space DJ'd the Snoop Dogg and Too Short after party held at Soaring Eagle Resort where he kept the party jumping for hours. Making connections with many in the entertainment industry, Space continues packing nightclubs weekly with his multi genre style. From his favorite Florida break beats to Detroit Techno and everything in between, Space will keep your feet moving no matter what genre he is spinning! Zeb K Zeb Krumlauf (Zeb K) has been making waves in the DJ scene throughout Michigan for quite sometime now. Spinning music for over 2 decades, Zeb found his style, vibe and grooves playing at some of Northern Michigans underground hot spots. That success along with his love for music, he made some connections with some of Detroits most well known DJs including Tom Linder, of the Detroit Techno Militia and founding member of Bang Tech 12. Zeb began to spin at Bang Tech's annual event held in Detroit over Memorial Day weekend where he continues to showcase his skills with his unique style, excellent blends and upbeat energy. More notably Zeb has been a huge live streamer with his weekly house music sessions on Twitch (and Mixcloud) called Depth Charge Sessions. DCS is one of the fastest growing house music streaming channels online, networking and promoting house music DJs from all over the world. Growing his audience throughout the state, Zeb K makes regular appearances at M22 in Glen Arbor, TC Whiskey Company in Traverse City and events in Detroit & Grand Rapids. DJ Odawa Anthony Davis (DJ Odawa) has been in the music scene for years. Born in Toledo Ohio, Odawa gained an interest in music at an young age listening to many genres. Moving to Petoskey in the early 90s, he made a splash hitting the turntables spinning some heavy drum & bass. Still making a presence back in his home town, Odawa expanded his range mixing numerous styles including jungle, deep bass, minimal techno, progressive house and more. Having a residency at Wesley's in Toledo and a few spots in Traverse City, as well as making some appearances in Detroit, DJ Odawa continues to push his skills with monthly mixes on Depth Charge Sessions live on Twitch.
