Our first SUP night paddle of 2025 will take place on sheltered, warm, Cedar Lake! If you haven’t been, this lake is a hidden little gem just outside of Traverse City and is perfect for early summer when the bays are still too cold. If you plan to attend, RSVP’s are appreciated so we can estimate attendance.
Please arrive at the boat launch parking lot off of Cherry Bend Rd at 5:45pm. Parking is limited, carpool if possible. If there are no other parking options, please double park with a friend to keep boat trailer spaces open for people using launch.
We will get on the water at 6pm and paddle the perimeter of the lake to maximize our paddle distance, staying closer to shore and arriving back around 7:30pm.
This paddle is open to all levels. You must be able to stand up and paddle on your board for 1.5 hours.
We will cancel for thunderstorms or strong winds by 3pm, no later, the day of the event. We will paddle rain or shine. RSVPing will give you event updates as the weather can change. We do not usually answer messages on the page after 3pm on paddle nights so check the event.
Can’t wait to see you!
