Over two days, we’ll walk from Traralgon to Stratford, passing through Glengarry, Toongabbie, Cowwarr, Heyfield, Tinamba and Maffra. With historic townships, country vistas, and plenty of points of interest along the way, there’s lots to explore at an easy, steady pace.

Saturday 7 March

We’ll take the train to Traralgon and start hiking around 9am. After a full day on the trail, we’ll check into our accommodation in Heyfield. You’ll need to arrange your own accommodation in town—there are a few options, so book early. Dinner is flexible—eat out in town or choose your own adventure.

Sunday 8 March

Have breakfast at your accommodation or at a local café before we set off for day two. We’ll continue along the trail to Stratford, where we’ll hop on the train back to Melbourne.
