Fenit Coastal Cycle Returns for Its 13th Year – Saturday, 21st March 2026
To celebrate its 12th year, the much-loved annual Fenit Coastal Cycle returns on Saturday, 21st March 2026.
Previous events have attracted nearly 500 cyclists from across Munster and beyond. With demand expected to be high once again, the Fenit Coastal Cycle Committee is delighted to announce that pre-registration is now open.

The cycle will feature rolling starts from 10am and is open to clubs, groups, families, and individual cyclists. Described as both “fun and challenging,” the event caters to all abilities with a range of distances:
60km or 25km routes
10km route for younger cyclists
1km fun cycle for kiddies on the Fenit Greenway
This event is an ideal way to kick-start training for the Ring of Kerry Cycle and other upcoming cycling challenges.
Routes showcase the spectacular scenery of Fenit, Ardfert, Ballyheigue, Kerryhead, and Barrow, with stunning views of Mount Brandon, Tralee, the Shannon Estuary, and the beautiful Fenit Greenway.

All participants will be entered into a draw to win a €1,000 voucher for O’Sullivan Cycles, Killarney and Listowel. The event will also include safety management, roadside assistance, support vehicles, and light refreshments at St. Brendan’s National School, Fenit.
This year’s chosen charities are Enable Ireland and Cycling for All Kerry, both of which will receive a donation from the event. In addition, St. Brendan’s National School, Fenit will receive much-needed equipment for students.
