- **Event Description**: Join us for a Full Moon walk on the wild side!About this EventMeet Kasey Foley at the entry gate of Carnegie SVRA located at 18600 Corral Hollow Road in Tracy for this Full Moon walk on the wild side. This walk will be on a different trail in the park that is approximately 2 miles with about a 315 foot elevation change. It has yielded Barn owls, Red-tailed hawks and even Burrowing owls and we should also find cool scorpions and spiders, and maybe Golden Eagles or Western Screech Owls.Things to keep in mind are there may be mosquitos so bring repellent, sun protection, dress in layers as it may get cold later, bring snacks and water as we may be gone for 2-3 hours, and you may want to bring a walking stick as the footing may not be even and we will be climbing up rock/dirt trails. Be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp, (black light for scorpion viewing) because it will be dark on our way back. Oh yeah, don't forget your binoculars! Also, remember there are rattlesnakes in this park so boots are recommended. Restroom facilities are at the entrance of the park and near the trailhead.Hope to see you there!
