First Day Hike

Join Ranger Ben for our signature First Day Hike as we step back to the 1930s to explore the incredible legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). We'll hike part of the beautiful day loop trail to the CCC Interpretive Area (1.5 miles on a natural surface) at Grundy Forest State Natural Area while discussing the impactful work and fascinating story of Company 1475.

Please dress warmly for the weather and wear appropriate hiking attire. The hike is approximately 1.5 miles and moderate in difficulty.
