Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts presents our second exhibitions opening for 2026, launching three exhibitions from 6pm Friday 6 March.
Audiences are invited to start the evening from 5:30pm nearby at Murky Waters Studio for the launch of Justin Bishop's Meditations in Colour, before heading to Umbrella, with speeches commencing from approximately 6:30pm.
The exhibitions ‘Living Archive’, ’Express Yourself’ and ‘Ung Jay Dijn Un (Weaving)’, bring together diverse artists whose practices explore our relationship with nature, the expression of human emotion and intergenerational knowledge-sharing. A range of engaging public programs accompany these exhibitions, including the opportunity to collaborate and contribute directly to the ‘Living Archive’ installation.
All three exhibitions will then be on display until Sunday 19 April 2026.
FREE ENTRY to the gallery at Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts (408 Flinders Street).
Please note that Umbrella will be closed for exhibitions install from 1pm Sunday 1 March until the launch 6pm Friday 6 March, before resuming our usual open hours:
