Join us on Saturday, September 13th, for a walk along the beautiful woodland trail and country roads that surround our community.Participants will enjoy the scenic beauty of our natural surroundings. The walk starts at Valley Village, located at 461 Grafton Rd in Townshend, VT. From there, it heads down Grafton Rd to the elementary school, then onto the woodland trail through the forest to Ober Hill Rd, and finally back to Grafton Rd, completing a loop that ends at Valley Village. The entire route is just under 1.5 miles and is easy to moderate, with some narrow paths, uneven footing, and slight climbs.For those who prefer a more accessible option, we are offering a stroll around the community garden in the center of our property. One lap around the garden's sidewalk is approximately 300 feet, or the length of a football field.- Pre-registration at Valley Village or on Eventbrite: $20/participant- Day-of Registration: $25/participantAll participants will receive an event t-shirt, and morning refreshments will be provided.
