- **Event Description**: The Missouri District, in partnership with Concordia Plans, is pleased to announce the opportunity to provide Nationally Accredited Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training at no cost.

Our next training is scheduled 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. Additional opportunities will be available June 6 and Aug. 7, 2026.

The virtual training will take about 7 hours. This includes a couple 10-15 minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. There is about two hours of self-paced (online) pre-work involved that will need to be completed.

Participants are also encouraged to explore Upheld by God’s Hand, a free LCMS course that integrates Lutheran theology with mental health education. For additional training options for ministry volunteers, contact Director of Church Worker Support, Rev. Marty Hasz, LPC, at marty.hasz@mo.lcms.org.
