- **Event Name**: Michigan Jeeps’ Black Lake Trail Ride/Christmas Party
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 05 Dec, 2025 at 07:00 pm – Sun, 07 Dec, 2025 at 10:00 am
- **Event Description**: Michigan Jeeps’ Black Lake trail ride starts Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Driver’s meeting at the Black Lake Golf Course parking lot at the corner of S. Black River Rd. and Maxon Rd.

Stock Jeeps should not have any issues and there is always someone available to help if needed. You need solid tow points front and rear, and your own recovery gear (tow strap, NO CHAINS, gloves, boots, etc).

You can save 10% on recovery gear from Crawler Offroad, a Michigan based company, by using the code MIJeeps10. Check out their products at https://crawleroffroad.com.

You can also save 10% on recovery gear at RhinoUSAInc.com by using the code MIJEEP10.

We use channel 16 (462.5750) on GMRS radios or walkie talkies for communication.

Save 15% on eligible trail communication products from Midland USA if you use the code MIJEEPS15 at www.midlandusa.com

I recommend both ORV stickers to avoid any confusion regarding the subject.

Bring food, drinks and snacks for lunch on the trail. Trail rides usually go from 10:00 a.m. until late afternoon or early evening depending on how we feel.

Please arrive with a full tank of gas and in plenty of time to air down and be ready to leave at 10:00 a.m.

We are staying at the UAW Conference Center & Lodge. Please mention Michigan Jeeps when making your reservation. Call the UAW center at 1 (989) 733-8521.

After the trail ride we will have a Christmas party and pizza at the conference center. Please bring a snack or dessert to pass around, and cash to chip in for food. We are going to have a white elephant gift exchange. For those who want to participate, please bring a gift that is free up to $10. This is just for fun, so don’t get carried away and spend a lot of money.

This is a very beautiful place in the woods with unique architecture built among the trees and river. There is a large lobby gathering area with a fireplace and built in seating where we usually hang out.

Please note: Your vehicle must have been made in the United States in order to get past the gate and park. They will check your VIN to verify. If not made in the USA you will have to shuttle in.
