Trains: Wolverton, Northampton, Milton Keynes Central, and Banbury are all nearby stations
Buses: there are 2 or 3 available: 88 runs from Northampton to Silverstone, 87 runs Northampton to Brackley via Silverstone, and X91 runs Milton Keynes to Silverstone although this only comes as far as Silverstone on bigger event days so you'll have to wait until nearer the time to see if this one is running
Food and drink: the venue has a cafe and bar, the village shop and pub (worth a visit if you want to see some F1 and MotoGP murals and memorabilia) are also just a short walk up the road
Accomodation: due to the circuit there are obviously quite a few local hotels including a Premier Inn just outside the village (2.3 miles) and a Travelodge on the outskirts of Towcester (3.8 miles), and also quite a few B&Bs inside the village itself.
