- **Event Description**: Back this year is Endless Mountains Heritage Region’s Annual Grants Workshop, this time at the Keystone Theater at 601 Main Street, Towanda, PA 18848. The event will begin at 9 a.m. promptly on Friday, February 20, 2026. This workshop is free and open to the public for those interested in learning more about grants that pertain to outdoor recreation, historic preservation, community and economic development, event promotion and more.

Speakers for this event include various state and regional organizations that issue grant funding at different levels. The goal of this event is to educate local organizations, non-profits and municipalities on the opportunities for funding that are available to them, which then in turn, benefit our local communities throughout EMHR’s four-county region.

This year’s speakers include:

Christine Dettore, Northeast Regional Advisor, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR)
Janet Sweeney, Vice President, Pennsylvania Environmental Council
Paul Macknosky, Regional Director, Department of Community & Economic Development
April Hannon, District 4-0 Project Manager, and Steven Fisher, District 4-0 Planning Specialist, PA Department of Transportation

The grants workshop will last approximately three hours at the Keystone Theatre. Though the event is free and open to the public, we ask that you please register for the event so we can get an accurate headcount and plan for the event.
