- **Event Description**: Perfect for the beginner, this course series teaches the fundamentals: the history of astrology, basic astronomy & the natural wheel—covering hemispheres, quadrants, qualities (yin & yang), modalities/modes (cardinal, fixed, mutable), elements (fire, earth, air, water), & the foundational archetypes alongside their shadows (10 planets, 12 signs, 12 houses). I teach from a karmic/evolutionary perspective. Most important of all, I am a therapy-&-trauma-informed astrologer. For this reason, the objective is to explore both the exterior & conscious, as well as the interior & subconscious, dimensions of these symbols.

Free from the constraints of formal exams & a static syllabus, this course merges theory & practice in a creative, interactive way, working hands-on with fellow classmates’ charts & examples from the big wide world. My goal is, & always will be, to cultivate a supportive community where you feel invited to discover & share who you are in your learning journey, with all your messy & perfect parts.

This is about chart interpretation, but also about having a safe space (thanks to the generous souls of Duncan Manor) to open up, understand, & evolve. Students often describe my approach as uplifting & upbeat, with a delicate kind of serious & real mixed in. My method is personal, meaningful, & visceral.

Astrology can be approached as the art & science of applied imagination. It has boundless capacity to enrich & illuminate our sense of Being, belonging, & connectedness to all things. I therefore make its ancient yet timeless knowledge accessible, so my students nurture their own relationship to concepts. I recognize astrology as the rich & varied, dare I say complex, tradition that it is, & it is because of this that I offer experience-based guidance through the maze of different techniques & ideas, to emphasize its deeply psychological wisdom & wildly practical relevance to everyday life. Learn how to decode your cosmic DNA, & you’ll find yourself experiencing profound inner growth while witnessing others do the same.

Each course has an intelligence of its own, each building off the last, & it is an honor to lead you in your every lesson.

2-hr in-person lessons divided per foundational topic + 30min.-1hr. recorded Q&A sessions via Zoom to revisit anything we didn’t cover, dive into concepts you’re especially curious about, or simply have fun talking astrology.

? 2 ONLINE & RECORDED STUDENT CHART CASE STUDIES
Alongside the personalized, peer review mentorship each lesson delivers, over the course, you’ll also have 2 opportunities to partake in a recorded 1-hour online case study—either volunteering your own chart or joining fellow chart interpreters—to execute course-related knowledge & skills (will announce which topic we'll be exploring & when as the pace, progression, & participation of the course unfolds). Charts volunteered, for not just case studies but also if you're particularly interested in using your chart for upcoming lessons, must be submitted & selected in advance to allow time for study & preparation.
