Make Your Own Glass Beads

It's bead time! Come experience making your own glass beads on the torch using the flamework technique with Victor.

The classes will be 1 hour in duration. Each class includes a short history of glass bead-making, torch safety & heat zones, and basic glass bead-making technique. Each student will work individually on a high temperature flame-work torch.

The amount of beads and design each person will make will depend on the individual's ability.

There will be the option for the finished beads to go through the annealing process in the kiln. Annealing the beads will reduce the amount of stress / tension in the glass which will make it less likely to crack. If you choose this process the beads can be picked up the next day or can be mailed for an additional charge.

Please do not wear bulky sleeved garments. Avoid wearing synthetics. Closed shoes are also important. We would suggest wearing older clothing, which can get small burn marks.
