Pocket Youth Theatre Presents: Matilda The Musical Jr

This February, the Pocket Youth Theatre brings a riot of mischief, music and mayhem to the stage with their small-scale but big-hearted production of Matilda the Musical.

With its sharp comedy, larger-than-life characters and a story that’s as poignant as it is hilarious, Matilda follows the extraordinary little girl with an unshakable love of books, a quick wit, and a bit of magic up her sleeve. Can she and her friends take on the terrifying Miss Trunchbull and show the grown-ups who’s really in charge?

Featuring the talented young performers you’ve cheered on before, this is a production full of energy, imagination and the sheer joy of theatre. Pocket-sized in scale but huge in spirit, Matilda the Musical will leave you laughing, humming—and maybe wiping away a tear or two.
