Join us for a gorgeous evening of Bal Folk - (literally meaning ‘Folk Ball’) - traditional French and Breton dancing, with live music by the fabulous Dragonsfly.
They’re a Westcountry band known for their upbeat Celtic and world folk music, and will be playing for us their exhilarating French dance repertoire.
It’ll be a super fun night of joyful music, dance and community togetherness with a wonderful variety of traditional couple and circle dances; such as the Bourree, Schottische, Mazurka, Waltz, Andro, Hanter-dro, Laride and more.
Some are earthy, some romantic and some just fun!
Timing is 7-11pm with dance workshop and bands.
We’ll have a cafe serving delicious homemade cakes, tea, coffee, chai, cacao, and cold drinks.
