Celebrate fifteen years of Totnes' home grown and greatest comedy night, back once again* at The Royal Seven Stars hotel. Kiwi comedy standout Sully O'Sullivan headlines a typically stacked bill of comedy that'll be the perfect antidote to winter's arrival.
Sully O'Sullivan is no stranger to regular patrons of Big Mouth Comedy Club, having graced us with his brilliance several times over the years. One of our most beloved and requested acts, this circuit mainstay arrives fresh from a summer touring the globe with his hit show "An Idiot's Guide To New Zealand". Always brilliant, always bang up to the minute topical and never more than a few seconds away from the next big laugh.
Support comes from slightly closer to home in the phenomenal form of Suzy Bennett. Hailing from just down the road in Plymuff, Suzy is the dictionary definition of the term 'local gal done good'. Whether she's selling out the Barbican, taking her effortless charm all across the country or raising the best kind of hell at various festivals there's no stopping the magnificent Ms Bennett.
If that's not enough we're going to be graced by Ecuador's number one comedian El Purnell. We know very little about this enigmatic globetrotter but his confirmation promised that he will be "Muy divertido e increíblemente guapo."
With resident MC Chris Brooker at the helm it's going to be another tremendous night. Plus if anything goes wrong we can always use the phrase we learned in September. "It's alright, I used to be a sailor."
