Christina Santiago has been a familiar face in our Zumba community here in Torrington and the surrounding area for years. Recently, she shared with us the story of her dear friend who is courageously battling breast cancer. Despite undergoing chemo and other treatments, her friend’s insurance is not covering many of her medical expenses.

When Christina reached out to her instructors asking if we could help, our answer was an easy YES! Christina has participated in many Zumba fundraising events over the years, so she already knows the incredible power that dance, love, and community can bring to those in need. That’s what we do — we show up, we lift each other, and we dance with purpose.

Learning more about Linda’s story inspired us all to step forward and say:
✨ “You are not alone in this!” ✨

We’re beyond excited to partner with MissFits BootCamp, a true pillar in our fitness community, to host this EPIC fundraising event. Their amazing space will be the perfect place for us to come together, dance our hearts out, and make a difference!
