Seaside Heroes Park Conservation Project

Seaside Heroes Park update
Last month we planted a number of California Natives and added 6 new 'Cigar Plants' around the Memorial located right inside the Kathryn entrance. When I checked on them a few days later, a couple of them looked a little sad so my granddaughter and I came back with water to help them acclimate.

Our next event is Saturday the 14th of February from 8-11 am. Sign in at the Kathryn entrance. Any amount of time you can give is valuable to our goal.

We have a great time doing something good for the community and it's a nice way to start your weekend - being outside at a lovely park, spending time with people who care.

Since 2014 when I started this project, over 600 volunteers have worked 5,650 hours - so grateful to everyone who's participated in making my vision a reality 😍
