About Maria’s Closet

Maria’s Closet is a nonprofit organization that has dressed nearly 3,500 young women for prom and awarded over $55,000 in scholarships. Through donations and volunteer support, Maria’s Closet creates a one of a kind prom shopping experience that reminds students they are worthy, supported, and capable of achieving their dreams.

In 2025 alone, Maria’s Closet served students from 58 Title 1 schools across Los Angeles, expanding their reach through partnerships with learning centers and special needs programs. Each year concludes with scholarship awards for college bound seniors, helping young women take their next steps with confidence.
