The Cherry Blossom Festival hosted by the Torrance Community Services Department is made to celebrate the large Japanese and Japanese-American population in the city of Torrance. 

We will present 2 booths with dolls in Kimono and spring theme clothing & and educate the public about the hobby. The event is free, and you can dress up.

There will be food, shopping, presentations and live performances. This is a family-friendly event.

If you would like to participate with your dolls, here are the requirements:

1. By participating, you agree to arrive by 10am for doll setup. Tear down at 4 pm.

2. 2-3 dolls is suggested. Kimono or spring theme clothing is best. Outfits should be family/kid friendly.

Photography and media may be present.

Stands or furniture for your dolls should be brought to avoid dolls falling down or knocking other dolls down, this can result in damage to other dolls.

3. Please bring your own chair to sit on or a blanket. Snacks to share are greatly appreciated. 

4. We are not responsible for damage to your doll. This is a risk taking them out publicly. 

General Parking will be on 190th Street. There will be overflow parking probably across the street. There will also be a shuttle that will take you from a different parking lot somewhere else. I don’t know from where
