Come join us for our illuminations with lots of Christmas sparkle and festive lighting. Enjoy all that the Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay has to offer along with some delightful miniature seasonal scenes as our little folk celebrate Christmas.
CHRISTMAS ILLUMINATIONS DATES 2025:
Nov 22nd, 23rd, 29th & 30th
Dec 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th to 24th, Dec 27th to 31st. (closed Dec 25 & 26)
Jan 2nd to 4th 2026 (closed Jan 1).
Opening Time: 11.00am to last entry 4.30pm, park closes 6.30pm.
During daylight, take a challenge with our fun spotter sheet – will you be able to find all the miniature Santas and Elves!
MAGICAL ILLUMINATIONS from dusk – From 3.30pm until 6.30pm.
Important: Admission gates close at last entry time (4.30pm) with no further admission possible, as parts will slowly start to close behind the last visitors. To avoid disappointment please arrive in plenty of time. See below for full tips!

HOW TO VISIT & USEFUL TIPS –
As everything is in miniature, some of the tiny details, scenes and humour are less visible after dark, to maximise your experience we strongly recommend timing your visit to allow at least hour of daylight too –
To experience ‘day & night’ in one visit – We suggest arriving around 2.30-3.30pm and allow around 2.5 to 3.5 hours for your visit. Enjoy a daylight visit first, doing the spotter sheet challenge and Crazy Golf, then go around again after dark.
OR use our ‘One FREE return visit within 7 days’. – Ask at admissions and keep your admission receipt safe. You will need to show this along with a special voucher and your original card payment method, as one proof it is the same people returning. You can use this to return same day or any time within 7 days. NOTE: It is valid on the 8th day, i.e. if you first visit on a Sunday you can use it up to the following Sunday. Free return is non-transferable and conditions apply – please read the voucher.
FOOD & REFRESHMENTS – Our coffee shop will be open 11.00-5.30, hot food (Paninis, Pizzas, Sausage rolls) served from 12.00-5.00pm
What if it is raining? Wet days are always quietest and the wet ground creates great reflections of the lights. For information about weather tips and indoor attractions SEE HERE. If it is your first visit and it turns out too wet, you can use our ‘One Free Return within 7 days’ to come back on a drier day.
