Yuma Abe Abe began his career in 2014 as the vocalist and guitarist of never young beach. He has performed with international artists such as Devendra Banhart, The Growlers, Mild High Club, HYUKOH. He was also featured in BTS's RM's 2nd album, "Right Place, Wrong Person". He also appeared in the "Yellow Magic Show 3," an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of his music career.

Yuma Abe has been expanding his activities in Japan and other Asian countries such as China, Taiwan, and Korea, performing on live tours and festivals. In 2021, he began his solo career and released his first solo album, "Fantasia", on June 2. Haruomi Hosono mixed three songs, and Devendra Banhart played guitar on two songs. In 2024, His second studio album "Hotel New Yuma" was released.

With soft lo-fi-inspired vocals, woodsy upright piano, authentic Rhodes, and Mellotron textures, Tean Dream creates a ‘70s-inspired bedroom-pop aesthetic that serves as a friendly host for
lyrical themes of freedom, nostalgia, and finding self. The sound is a blend of classic and modern—indie-inflected production and jazz-inspired chording with piano-led ‘70s pop song-writing foundations. The feeling is familiar but unknown, melancholy but uplifting. It sounds of growth and time irrelevant.

Since the February 2025 release of debut single “Frozen Lakes,” Tean Dream has earned international and national radio play and rave critic reviews. With support from London Arts Council, Tean Dream’s Debut EP “Shine” was released on LOVETOWN RECORDS (May 2, 2025) plunging Team Dream into the indie-dream pop scene with headlining release shows, widespread playlisting, and airplay across Canada and the United States, including special
features Canada CBC Radio (ici Musique, Southwest Sounds, Afternoon Drive).

The EP an is an all-Canadian team project featuring 6 songs by Tean Dream (moniker for vocalist and keyboardist Tina Powell) with Brent Jackson (The Junction, Sunshine Makers) on bass and
production, Eric Conway on sound engineering, Thomas Perquin (Ivory Hours & Sunshine Makers) on drums, Nixon Boyd (Hollerado, Anyway Gang, Dizzy) mixing, and Kristian Montano
(Ruby Waters, Sean Desman) mastering.
