The meditations are practised seated on chairs. We also have books available to support deeper understanding and to help you deepen your experience through reading and reflection. No previous experience of meditation is required. Everyone is welcome.Maria Gonzalez-Castaneda brings a wealth of personal experience to her meditation classes acquired through years of dedicated study, practice, and completion of long meditation retreats within Kadampa Buddhism. As a dedicated teacher and volunteer at KMC Canada, she embodies warmth and loving-kindness, making her very approachable and easy to relate to. Maria teaches in an engaging, practical manner, inspiring people in their meditation practice and helping them discover their own source of happiness from within.IMPORTANT: Due to city by-laws, booking must be done in advance using the booking below. ~Class dates & topics ~TUESDAY evenings, 6:30 pm - 7:45 pmJune 30~ Feeling Connected ~July 7~ Enhancing Connection ~July 14~ Loving Kindness Meditation ~Fees: $40 / discount for entire seriesor $15 per classClass pass holders: no charge(click here for more information about the monthly class pass)Terms & Conditions*This is a KMCC event and is not hosted by or sponsored by the Toronto Public Library
