Bring us your weird rhyme schemes, your unconventional forms—poems where you ask if we’d still love you if you were a worm and ones that made sense in a dream. Songs that sound like poems, and poems that sound like songs. Your punny, and your funny, and your lyrical and satirical. Poems that use words you don't hear often, or used in that way. Words that are made-up entirely, or just really fun to say! Work that remixes words that have already been said and then churns up their meanings and spits them out on their head!So often we think about poetry in particular as needing to be heavy and serious, but poetry is art, and so much of art is play!
