Moving between observed landscape and intuitive abstraction, the work explores how trees, leaves, snow, water and pathways can dissolve into colour, texture, movement and visual rhythm.This will not be a silent or static gallery experience. Violette is also a musician, songwriter, producer and DJ, and the gallery will function as a living creative space throughout the exhibition. Visitors may encounter ambient and experimental mini-concerts, informal acoustic jams with musical friends, DJ sets, songwriting in progress and evolving sound-and-image installations inspired by the paintings.Violette will be in attendance throughout gallery hours, welcoming visitors into the space and sharing the stories, processes and experiences behind the work.
